Devyani Rana Clinches Nagrota Assembly Seat for BJP

In a decisive outcome for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Devyani Rana has won the Nagrota Assembly seat, achieving a commanding lead in the ongoing assembly elections. Harsh Dev Singh, representing the Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party, garnered 17,661 votes, while Shamim Begum of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference finished third with 10,834 votes. Anil Sharma, running as an independent candidate, fell far behind with just 837 votes.
