Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati announced today that the unprecedented turnout at the rally commemorating the 19th death anniversary of party founder Kanshi Ram has left rival parties feeling ‘sleepless and nervous.’ The gathering took place on Friday at the Kanshi Ram Memorial in Lucknow, showcasing significant attendance from both youth and women.
In a statement shared on X, Mayawati emphasized the zeal and commitment demonstrated by attendees. The crowds, particularly vocal with their slogans, reinforced their goal to establish a BSP government in Uttar Pradesh for a fifth consecutive term. This enthusiasm represents the unwavering determination of the party’s base, Mayawati noted.
“It is only natural for opposition leaders to lose their composure after witnessing such an impressive display of collective strength,” she remarked. She urged her supporters to dismiss what she termed the “meaningless remarks and statements” made by rival party leaders.
Mayawati celebrated the loyalty of the Bahujan Samaj community, stating, “The people of the Bahujan Samaj have illustrated to the entire nation their commitment to fulfilling Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision of elevating the oppressed into the ruling class through their votes.”
The BSP leader encouraged party workers to remain vigilant against the “divisive and deceitful tactics” employed by adversaries. She called on them to fully dedicate themselves to ‘Mission 2027’, the BSP’s strategic campaign for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Expressing gratitude to party functionaries and volunteers from all 75 districts, Mayawati praised their efforts in mobilizing lakhs of supporters safely to and from the rally. She also thanked those paying tributes to Kanshi Ram nationwide, describing their participation as a symbol of unity and strength that propels the BSP’s mission forward.
The massive turnout at the Kanshi Ram anniversary rally serves as a significant indicator of the BSP’s current standing and its preparations for future electoral challenges. With ‘Mission 2027’ underway, Mayawati aims to reclaim power in a state where the party has historically found both triumph and challenges.
