The administration on Monday carried out a major anti-encroachment drive at Bandi near the Maha Maya Temple to clear alleged illegal occupations from government land. Officials said the operation was conducted jointly by the revenue department, forest authorities and police personnel to ensure smooth and peaceful execution of the drive.
