



Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today chaired a high-level meeting to review the security arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including:

During the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor conducted a comprehensive review of the security grid and strategies in place to safeguard the pilgrimage. He emphasized the need for seamless coordination among all stakeholders—including the civil administration, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB), J&K Police, Army, and central armed police forces—for ensuring a peaceful and incident-free Yatra.

Steps being taken to ensure foolproof security across all vulnerable and critical points
Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari provided an update on the overall preparedness of the SASB, highlighting the improved facilities and services being arranged for the comfort and safety of the pilgrims.
The Lieutenant Governor stressed that every effort must be made to maintain high levels of alertness, ensure effective communication, and facilitate the smooth conduct of the Yatra.
